Students

Learn to Read students are St. Lucie County, Florida residents 16 years of age and older who need help with  their English language reading, writing and speaking  skills. 

Common goals of Learn to Read students range from acquiring the reading, writing and conversation skills necessary to obtain a driver’s license or employment, being able to understand and comprehend medical and legal documents, being able to help their children with homework, taking the test and interview for citizenship, and obtaining a high school equivalency diploma, such as the GED.
